Family Law - Dawn’s major area of concentration revolves around Family law issues such as Dissolution of Marriage, Child Support and Custody Matters, Parentage cases, Guardianships of Minors, Removal of Children and such other related matters.

Real Estate - We provide complete service for real estate related matters, from representing For Sale by Owner (FSBO), to advising buyers of improved and vacant real estate. As members of Attorney’s Title Guaranty Fund, Inc., we can provide the title insurance necessary to close the transaction and also offer complete closing services regardless of who the lender is or who has provided the title insurance. Landlord Tenant - Tom has spent many years representing various owners and management of housing complexes, both privately owned and those federally subsidized. While his representation has not focused on tenant issues, the background gained in representing landlords allows him to offer these services to the tenant, as well as to the Land Owner.

Guardianship - Tom’s Guardianship work includes acting as the Tazewell County Public Administrator, which gives him a great basis for the representation of individuals petitioning for guardianship of disabled adults, as well as advising those individuals in their capacity after they have been appointed.

Estate Planning and Administration - From Wills, to Powers of Attorney, to the preparation of those documents that assure you that your children will receive the necessary medical treatment while you are out of town. Tom also serves as the Tazewell County Public Administrator, giving him valuable insight into the administration of decedent’s estates.
